Climate change is already affecting the world in negative ways. To prevent the worst effects of global warming and the human suffering it will cause, the U.S. and other countries must reduce greenhouse gas emissions, help transition developing countries to low-carbon economies and help the world's most vulnerable communities adapt to the inevitable impacts of climate change.
