Wyoming, Montana Look into Carbon Storage

The Wyoming Senate will consider several bills related to carbon capture and storage (CCS) this month. Most bills consider the use of carbon storage for enhanced oil recovery (EOR), while one addresses responsibility for C02 once it has been pumped underground. Montana's legislature is debating CCS   as well, including a bill that would require coal companies to capture their carbon dioxide directly, sequester it or otherwise offset it by purchasing carbon credits or some other means.
