USCAN is an affiliate network of the Climate Action Network International (CAN), a worldwide network of more than 1100 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in more than 90 countries working to promote government, private sector and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels.
CAN is organized into regional and national "nodes". Each node is responsible for its own governance and procedures, and conduct joint policy and advocacy work within its given country or region. Below are a list of the current CAN regional and national nodes, with links to obtain further information. Organizations wishing to become members of CAN should first approach the relevant regional or national node to inquire regarding potential membership.
