Democracy

Democracy is a core value at USCAN, and our members greatly value the member-led democracy that happens yearly through their participation in the network. Our most important, and often symbolic, moment for our members to democratically participate is at our Annual Meeting when we vote on network alignment areas for working together for the year ahead. Leading up to the Annual Meeting, our Nominations Committee, a diverse selection of our members, solicits input from Voting Participants as well as reviews our spring survey to compile what is most important to our members.
