We are the U.S. Climate Action Network.

Together with our members and people like YOU, we are driving bold and equitable climate action by accelerating collective impact from the local level to the global scale.

How, you ask? By leading collective climate action today, tomorrow, and beyond as we work towards a future where all people and ecosystems thrive, with justice and self-determination for communities most impacted by the climate crisis.

Right now, USCAN is supporting our members in addressing urgent needs through relationship building, action planning, and capacity building efforts such as emergency funding, resource sharing, and skills development. We are also working to ensure that our collective U.S. voice remains strong on the international stage by actively engaging with our global partners.

Looking ahead, in advance of the 2028 elections, USCAN is partnering with our members in developing a comprehensive, unified climate policy agenda that is

  • rooted in experience and knowledge from frontline communities
  • informed by policy experts, and
  • validated by climate advocates.

Peering towards the horizon of 2030 (the timeline of our new Strategic Plan!), USCAN is preparing to meet the challenges of the future while remaining steadfastly committed to equity, inclusive decision-making, and centering the voices of those most impacted by the climate crisis. We are pursuing five key strategic priorities:

  • championing a just transition away from fossil fuels towards clean energy;
  • driving a resilient domestic climate agenda through political action and rapid response;
  • enhancing leadership and collaboration in international climate policy spaces;
  • strengthening and connecting members through enhanced core network support; and
  • bolstering USCAN’s organizational capacity.

The U.S. Climate Action Network is made stronger by every person who is committed to our shared vision for a just, resilient, and sustainable future. Join us, won’t you?
